I find that a positive attitude goes a long way in lowering stress. Therefore, would you like to join me in a challenge to be the gift this holiday season, with joy, peace, thanksgiving, and a smile :)? Whether or not you have Shaklee as a part of your life, I think you will find these Thanksgiving greetings from Roger Barnett, Shaklee Chairman and CEO, encouraging as we strive to be a healthy, happy piece of the Christmas story . . .
“With both Thanksgiving and Dr. Shaklee’s birthday taking place this week, it’s the perfect time to give thanks for all of our blessings. Dr. Shaklee gave us so many gifts. He taught us that the secret to living well is to live In Harmony with Nature®. He created the amazing Shaklee products based on that insight, and today, millions of people around the world have been living healthier for nearly six decades. Dr. Shaklee also taught us that when we share with others - putting their happiness and success first - that is when people reap the largest rewards.
These ideas are the very foundation for what we call The Shaklee Effect™. Small actions, taken every day, which when repeated by others lead to a big effect. This is the tremendous gift that Dr. Shaklee gave to all of us to enjoy, and more importantly, to share. And the most important thing we can all do is to spread the message of health and hope for the future, and to extend our Shaklee Effect, every day.
Sloan and I are grateful for so many things, including the health, the happiness and the sense of purpose that we get through Shaklee. But mostly, we are deeply grateful for you, and all that you do every day to help make the world a better place.”

Consider combining the healthy thinking above with these action steps to create a holiday with less stress and more success :). In addition to the healthy habits we all know (yet do not always love), I find B-Complex and Stress Relief Complex helpful to add to my stress-relief regimen. To strengthen my will-power (or at least reduce my cravings) at the dinner table, I like a serving of healthy protein before I reach the table to reduce my appetite and help my body better utilize the food to come. Taking time for ourselves can also help reduce stress and give us the strength and confidence to eat well during the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
