Give for Gardens: A School Garden Fundraiser

On Tuesday, June 25th from 5-9, three local area restaurants will be hosting a fundraiser to raise money for school and community garden's in the Cedar Valley. Programs run by FoodCorps (a national service organization dedicated to connecting kids to real food and housed out of the Center for Energy and Environmental Education at UNI) will be benefited by this fundraiser.

Eat out at Pablo's Mexican Grill, Rudy's Taco's or Newton's Paradise Cafe, and these restaurants will donate 10% of their profits from this night to our school gardening and cooking classes.

All donations will go towards the purchasing of garden tools, equipment, seeds and plants, as well as materials for cooking with fresh, local and healthy produce.

All you need to do to help students in the Cedar Valley learn about growing and cooking healthy food is to eat out at one of these three amazing restaurants.
