Have an Opinion on Syria? Rep. Bruce Braley Wants to Hear It

Rep. Bruce Braley (IA-01) today launched a webpage designed to get Iowans’ input on whether or not Congress should approve President Obama’s request for authorization to begin an American military intervention in Syria.

The page, www.braley.house.gov/syria, gives Iowans the opportunity to share their opinions on a possible US military action. 

Braley said, “I’m continuing to review the case for American military action in Syria. Before putting American lives at risk and spending millions of taxpayer dollars, we must be confident that American involvement in Syria is in our national security interests and doesn’t lead to an open-ended military commitment.

“I invite Iowans to visit www.braley.house.gov/syria to share their opinions on whether Congress should authorize an American military intervention in Syria.”
