Household Hazardous Materials & Electronics Recycling Drop-off

The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management
Commission will be partnering with the City of Cedar Falls to provide a toxic materials and electronics recycling drop-off for all Black Hawk County households. Some fees may apply for certain electronics. No paint, motor oil, antifreeze, appliances, or business waste of any type will be accepted. Please visit WasteTrac.org for details and a listing of accepted materials.

Approximately 40 volunteers will be assisting with this 5 hour event. From directing traffic and surveying participants to unloading chemicals and electronic items from participants' vehicles, volunteers make this event possible! Adults (age 18 or older) are encouraged to volunteer by calling the Waste Trac Education Team at 266-8722.
