IA 58 And Viking Road Closure In Cedar Falls

Beginning at 10:30 PM tonight, Tuesday, July 7th, the Iowa DOT and their contractor, PCI, will resume with the final stages of construction for the IA 58 & Viking Road project. To allow crews to paint new and refresh existing pavement markings, Iowa 58 will be closed between Ridgeway Avenue and Greenhill Road, and Viking Avenue will be closed between Nordic Drive and Andrea Road starting at 10:30 p.m. The project and road closure is expected to take up to five hours, weather permitting. If the weather does not allow for the paint crew’s work, the project will be done Wednesday, July 8 beginning at 10:30 p.m.
