The Only Problem With the College Hill Music Festival? Choosing Which of These Bands to See

The inaugural College Hill Music Festival is fast approaching, with a lineup of both local and national bands coming to the Hill on Saturday, May 4.

Here's the lineup and ticket prices:

12:30 a.m. King Froopy

9:45 p.m. Gloom Balloon

10:50 p.m. Christopher the Conquered

11:40 p.m. Laurelin Kruse

12:15 a.m. The Host Country

The Library (21+) $3

10 p.m. The Comfort Kings

11:10 p.m. Dustin Smith and the Sunday Silos 

12:30 a.m. Mary Mo and Her Sweet Notes

Tickets are available on the festival's website as well as at Mohair Pear, The Library, Ginger’s Pub, and The Octopus.

The event is being organized, promoted and presented by Slimbeast Productions, a Cedar Falls based music production company and label founded by Andrew and Julie Thoreen.

In March 2012, the two started Slimbeast Productions to act as a record label for their band, Har-di-Har, as a means to help legitimize and support their efforts in managing, booking and promoting the group.
