Refusal to Leave Ater-Hours Party on Cedar Falls Main Street Leads to Stabbing, Felony Charge

A Cedar Falls man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in the stomach after being asked continually to leave an after-hours party on Main Street early this morning.
According to the , on Monday, March 5, 2012, at approximately 2:59 a.m., officers responded to a reported stabbing at 318 1/2 Main St.
Andrew Thomas, the victim, was stabbed in the abdomen during a physical altercation with Alfred Ramirez. Ramirez refused numerous requests to leave an after-hours party, and the altercation ensued. Thomas was transported to after the incident for treatment.

Alfred Nathaniel Ramirez, 29, of Cedar Falls, was arrested for willful injury, which is a Class C felony. Last summer, Ramirez was arrested by the Cedar Falls Police Department for consumption in public/intox.

Marquis Darnell Stephens, male, 22, of Waverly, arrested at 1:04 a.m. on State State and Waterloo Road, charged with habitual offender/barred.
Brittany Marie McBride, female, 20, of Waterloo, arrested at 1:58 a.m. at 925 W. 22nd St., charged with consumption in public/intox.
Andrew Alan Greel, male, 25, of 3213 Cadillac Drive, arrested at 2:16 a.m. at E. 14th and Waterloo Road, charged with OWI/Drugged 1st.
Mark Richard Hagen, male, 47, of 2515 Valley Park Drive, arrested at 8:27 p.m. at same location, charged with assault without intent to injury.
