"Real Men Sing" Choir Festival featuring Tonic Sol-fa

Hosted by the Wartburg Ritterchor and directed by Dr. Lee Nelson, this festival is unlike any other in Iowa. Over 500 male singers from around the midwest will join in a day of singing and voice masterclasses. There will be two festival choirs: one for changing voices and one for changed voices. There will also be director's workshops dealing with the male voice, program development, recruitment, and repertoire for your program. The one-day festival will culminate with a finale concert that is open to the public at 5 p.m. in Neumann Auditorium. Guest clinicians for the festival will be Steven Albaugh and Steve Boehlke.
