We want to say thank you...
Just before Christmas, we had several basketball wheelchairs stolen from our trailer before practice. We recovered only one and the rest were cut up for scrap, leaving nothing to make even one chair from.
Since then, we have had several individuals , businesses, schools, and other groups step up and donate money and help in several ways. We have since then ordered and received new chairs to replace the old ones stolen.
We are now able to start the important events, camp and other things we do with our chairs during the year, to help athletes with a significant challenge to become active in their communities.
We are putting on this event so we can say thank you to many of the people who stepped up to help us out, Food will be catered from Zio Johnos, and dessert from Kathy's Pies. We will have our chairs there to see, and possible try out with a scrimmage set up with the Chairiots to demonstrate how they work and answer any questions about our group.
Please come out and join us in saying thank you to everyone who helped us get our Chairiots back!
