“I am
excited to return to the Midwest for the tour,” James said. “It is great to see
all our amazing friends and family. Their support means so much to us.”

The Paisley
Fields’ Midwest Express Tour kicks off in Cedar Falls, IA at The HuB. Their
next show will be at The Frequency in Madison, WI on Aug. 13th,
followed by shows in Lacrosse, WI and Chicago, IL.

Growing up in small-town Iowa, James grew to love
country music at a young age. The two-time ASCAP songwriters’ award winner
decided to form The Paisley Fields with his long-time collaborator and fellow
Iowan, Jessica, in late 2012.

The
collaboration has already proved successful.
The Deli Magazine
and Reverb Nation both ranked The Paisley Fields one of the
top ten country bands in NYC. In February 2013, the band released their debut
EP, Dixie Queen.

The
Paisley Fields plays a mix of country, blues and jazz. Their sound is Mumford
& Sons meets The National with a touch of Patsy Cline’s heartbreaking
twang. The band draws inspiration from musicians as varied as Dolly Parton, Tom
Waits, Tori Amos and Leonard Cohen.
