Photos: UNI Students Present Play About Prop 8; Show Opens Friday

UNI students rehearse, "8 The Play," a production that explores Proposition 8. The show is Jan. 18 and 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Strayer Wood Theatre in the Acting Practice Room. Admission is $2 per person.

Actors in the University of Northern Iowa Student Theatre Association rehearse "8 The Play" to prepare for their shows this Friday and Saturday night. Directed by sophomore theatre major Joseph Schoborg, "8 The Play" shows the real-life stories of two couples who want to get married, but are unable to due to same-sex marriage laws in California. Shows are Jan. 18 and 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Strayer Wood Theatre in the Acting Practice Room. Admission is $2 per person.
