University of Northern Iowa Moves Commencement Ceremony Online And Homecoming To Spring
The ceremony, typically held in December, is now scheduled to be held virtually on Saturday, Nov. 28.

UNI NEWS SERVICES - Following CDC guidelines in order to protect the campus community, the University of Northern Iowa’s commencement ceremony will move to a virtual format and be held in November.

The decision was not made lightly, but the health and safety of UNI graduates along with their family and friends was paramount. The ceremony, typically held in December, is now scheduled to be held virtually on Saturday, Nov. 28.
With football season being postponed, UNI’s Homecoming is also moving from October to the spring. Some virtual events are still planned for the fall. Details for both events will be announced at a later date.
