• Volunteers are needed to assist UNI’s Center for Multicultural Education in hosting the event "Walk MS: Cedar Falls/Waterloo Walk 2014" to be held on Saturday, May 17 from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the University of Northern Iowa. Volunteers will be stationed at various points throughout campus to provide information and aid walkers. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Volunteers will work with trained Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity site supervisors building homes with families in need on May 31 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. No construction experience is necessary. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• Children’s Cancer Connection is inviting volunteers to be a part of Camp Heart Connection summer camp program for children affected by cancer from June 7 – 14. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• The Cedar Falls Historical Society needs volunteers to serve as an Ice House Museum Host. Shifts are available May through October on Wednesdays, 1:00 – 4 p.m.; Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.; and Sundays, 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
