• The Grout Museum needs volunteers to assist with Museum School on April 23 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are needed.
• Hartman Reserve Nature Center needs assistance with an Earth Fair on April 27 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. Volunteers will assist with kayaking, canoeing, art activities, recycling activities, and 2 large service projects. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
• Volunteers will work with trained Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity site supervisors building homes with families in need on May 10 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. No construction experience is necessary. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
• The Cedar Valley Bicycle Collective needs volunteers to learn the ins and outs of properly sizing people for a bike, how to repair bikes, participate with events, fundraisers, the window display, bicycle rodeos for kids, repair clinics and more. This ongoing opportunity has flexible days and times. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
