- Volunteers are needed to assist with setting up, operating and tear down of the Family & Children’s Council Trivia Night fundraiser on April 3 from 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. for the at UAW 838 in Waterloo. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- The Grout Museum District needs volunteers to assist Girl Scouts as they earn their Finding Common Ground Cadette badge on April 4 and 5 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. This is an overnight event. If you are unable to stay overnight, volunteer to assist for the evening activities. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- Side walkers and horse leaders are needed for Horseback Riding Lessons beginning April 7 at ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program. Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday each week from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Volunteers age 14 and over are needed.
- The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission is seeking volunteers on April 12 from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. to assist with lifting TVs and computer monitors during their electronics recycling and household hazardous materials drop-off event in Waterloo. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
