• Side walkers and horse leaders are needed for Horseback Riding Lessons beginning April 7 at ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program. Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Volunteers age 14 and over are needed.
• Assist Junior Girl Scouts on April 12 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. with exploring the science behind some of our favorite foods at the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
• UNI Hardwoods Student Organization is recruiting volunteers are needed to help plant trees from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 12. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
• The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission is seeking volunteers on April 12 from 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. to assist with lifting TVs and computer monitors during their electronics recycling and household hazardous materials drop-off event in Waterloo. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
