- The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to assist as Bell Ringers. Opportunities exist Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. November 8 – December 24. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- Lowell Elementary needs volunteers commit to purchase, wrap, and deliver gifts for needy families at Lowell for the 2013 Christmas holiday. Wish lists of items family members need, sizes, and ideas will be provided. All gifts will be delivered to Lowell the week of December 16.
- Assist students taking part in NASA's Exploration Design Challenge during Discovery Days at the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium. Volunteers age 16 and over are needed November 29 and 30 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Join for a couple of hours or all day.
- Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare needs Ambassadors to guide patients and/or visitors from hospital entrances to various locations throughout the hospital or Professional Office Building. Ambassadors also deliver patient mail and flowers. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
