- The Waterloo Community Playhouse / Black Hawk Children’s Theatre is looking for volunteers to assist in the Costume Rental Shop during extended Halloween hours helping people find the perfect costume. Hours are October 28 – 31 from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- Volunteers age 18 and over are needed to provide assistance with Salvation Army clients as they fill out Christmas Assistance applications for the upcoming holiday season. Volunteers are needed November 4 – 8 and 11 – 15 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 18 – 22 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
- The Grout Museum District needs volunteers to assist with a robot building program entitled “Robo Girls” for Girl Scouts on November 2 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- VA Voluntary Service is in need of a van driver to provide transportation to and from the Iowa City VA. Volunteers age 21 and over are needed once per week or as available from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
