- The Grout Museum District needs assistants on January 11 to help with “Star Girls”, a program for Girl Scouts. Sessions include Daisies from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Juniors from 11:30 - 1:30 p.m., and Brownies from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- Volunteers will work with trained Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity site supervisors building homes with families in need. No construction experience is necessary. Volunteers age 18 and over are needed on January 11 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
- Volunteers are needed for Saturday Morning Science Club: Club Fetch! from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on January 11 at the Bluedorn Science Imaginarium. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- Volunteers are needed to assist elementary age children who will be taking part in on-site volunteer projects for MLK Day on January 20 from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
