- Hartman Reserve Nature Center needs volunteers to help with costumes, skits (writing and performing), leading groups, selling tickets, and serving cocoa and treats on October 9 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa is looking for volunteers to teach a six week course focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy or work readiness skills. Volunteers are needed one day a week, for 45 minutes. Materials are provided. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
- The Family & Children's Council is looking for volunteers October 18 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to set-up, tear down, and aid in the silent and live auctions for their annual fundraising event. Volunteers age 16 and over are welcome.
- The University Of Northern Iowa Center For Urban Education (UNI-CUE) is looking for tutors to provide one-on-one tutoring sessions for 1.5 hours each week during the fall and spring semesters. Volunteers age 18 and over are welcome.
