• Edged tops out data centers in Council Bluffs, Iowa (datacenterdynamics.com) — Two large Edged data centers in Council Bluffs have now been topped out, marking a major milestone for a campus expected to deliver about 200MW of capacity near College Road and East Kanesville Boulevard. Company leaders say Council Bluffs' workforce and infrastructure make it ideal for long-term digital investment, reinforcing the city's growing role in the Omaha–Council Bluffs tech and data hub.
   

• Council Bluffs breaks ground on $200 million casino (wowt.com) — A $200 million Hollywood Casino Hotel project is officially underway in Council Bluffs, replacing the long-running Ameristar riverboat and adding the metro's first Shake Shack. City leaders say the development will create hundreds of construction jobs, dozens of permanent positions, and boost tourism when it opens in 2028, pending final regulatory approvals.
   

• New Visions pitches new homelessness prevention program (nonpareilonline.com) — Council Bluffs' community development director joined New Visions and Threshold CoC leaders to promote a new, yearlong pilot program aimed at keeping Iowans housed before they ever need a shelter bed. Backed by a $100,000 award announced at the HousingIowa Conference, the effort focuses on early intervention and coordination to prevent local families from slipping into homelessness.
