• Howard County Youth Horse Program Launches Campaign for New Horse Barn (crescotimes.com) — A major fundraising push is underway in Cresco to build a new, safer horse barn and shaded spectator area at the Mighty Howard County Fairgrounds for the growing Howard County Youth Horse Program. Organizers aim to raise $250,000, break ground this month, and have 31 new stalls ready by the 2027 fair, with local residents and businesses invited to sponsor stalls or donate by November 15.
