Paranormal Cirque: Inferno will make its spooky way into Davenport (ourquadcities.com) — A touring horror-themed circus, Paranormal Cirque: Inferno, is coming to the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport Sept. 18–21, with multiple evening shows under the black-and-white tent on Locust Street. The adults-only production features acrobatics, aerial acts, intense themes, and a phone-only promo code for discounted tickets. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.
2. Mississippi Valley Blues Society will present two days of music at Blues Festival (ourquadcities.com) — Davenport music fans can look forward to the Mississippi Valley Blues Society's 41st Blues Festival at LeClaire Park on the riverfront Sept. 18–19, featuring two stages, national headliners, and free admission for attendees under 25. BlueSkool youth clinics, run with West Music of Davenport, will offer hands-on workshops and a jam session for young musicians.
3. Not pretty, but Fighting Bees move to 2-0 to open football season (qconline.com) — St. Ambrose University's Davenport-based Fighting Bees football team has opened 2-0 for the first time since 2018 after a 23-7 win over Missouri Baptist at Jack and Pat Bush Stadium.
