While his Americana-filled space doesn't keep regular hours, Wolfe sometimes lets visitors peek inside when he's in town, giving locals a rare chance to see this nostalgic roadside giant up close.
   

• Kristinsdottir Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week (hawkeyesports.com) — University of Iowa golfer Kristinsdottir has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after a strong top‑five finish at the Badger Invitational. Local golf fans can soon see her and the Hawkeyes in person when Iowa hosts the Diane Thomason Invitational at Davenport Country Club on Sept. 28–29, bringing collegiate competition right to the city's doorstep.
