Burlington Junction Railway Partners with City of Clinton
Enhanced service to Lincolnway Rail and Air Industrial Park
Burlington Junction Railway (BJRY) announced today it has signed a long-term rail switching agreement with the City of Clinton, IA for the Lincolnway Rail and Air Industrial Park.
Lincolnway is a 450-acre industrial park on the west side of Clinton, served by the Union Pacific Railroad. BJRY will provide railcar switching services to all tenants in the park, including the new Atlas Roofing Corp. shingle manufacturing facility and a new Clausen Trucking & Warehousing rail-truck transloading and warehousing facility.
BJRY provides short line rail service to customer locations elsewhere on the Union Pacific Railroad as well as on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway, Canadian National Railway, CSX Transportation system, and the Norfolk Southern Railway.
