- The Animal Rescue League of Iowa in Des Moines has some great events coming up! First up, a Pet First Aid class will be held at the ARL on Apr. 2. Next, Eggstravaganza: An Egg Hunt for Dogs will take place Apr. 9. - the first 30 dogs that sign up get a free treat bag! - Elton John's tour is finally making its way into Des Moines today. John's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" was supposed to come through Des Moines in June 2020 but was delayed due to the pandemic. Additionally, Elton John will be celebrating his birthday with the Iowans as he turned 75 yesterday. (KCCI Des Moines)
- West Des Moines has a new high-speed internet option, Google Fiber. The service will eventually be installed throughout West Des Moines but is only available for the northeast part of the city as of now. The installation will have 15 phases over the next two years. (KCCI Des Moines)
