Both incredible talents from Des Moines and Omaha respectively. Brandon and Bree are staples of the midwestern comedy scene and have performed all over the country.
With them are comics Dave Kilbride, Joslyn DeBonis, Charles Wurtele, Tanner Des Planque, and hosts Jobe Fee and Dan Umthun.
Come join us for this incredibly fun, high energy monthly event. While the show is free to the public, donations of $5 are encouraged and accepted!

After multiple sold out shows Lounge Act Comedy at HiFi is back! This time with Des Moines own Dan Umthun!
Dan’s jokes are painstakingly handcrafted in small batches with smoked peat and aged in sherry oak casks for 12 years. He was all-state Speech in Group Acting in 1999 and has since performed at the Guthrie Center American Legion for two free Coors Banquets, a fine beer. He is a regular host and feature at Des Moines Funnybone, and has produced festivals, shows, and open mics in Iowa since 2008 and a fine webseries about geek culture called the Doomcast on Youtube.

On With Life is proud to host a free Parkinson’s Disease Awareness Fair designed for individuals living with Parkinson’s, care partners, family members and community supporters. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, exploring resources or looking to stay active and connected, this event offers practical tools and meaningful support. Attendees will rotate through interactive learning stations focused on brain health, movement and exercise, communication strategies, adaptive equipment and more.&nbsp;Sessions will include topics such as:
<ul><li>Understanding Parkinson’s</li><li>BIG &amp; boxing-based movement</li><li>Singing and LOUD speech techniques</li><li>Adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment (DME)</li><li>Cognitive fitness strategies</li></ul>
Between sessions, guests can explore resource tables and connect with trusted community partners, including therapy providers, fitness experts, caregiver resources, insurance specialists and local senior services.&nbsp;Registration is free but required. The first 100 registrants will receive a complimentary event t-shirt.
