Des Moines City To Open Cooling Centers To Residents Without Power
The centers will be in the meeting room wings of Central Library and East Side Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The centers will be in the meeting room wings of Central Library and East Side Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, August 14-15. While WiFi will be available in the meeting room to those who bring their own devices, there will be no access to computers or to the library because of closures related to coronavirus (COVID-19).
Face coverings will be required and proper social distancing must be maintained for those utilizing the cooling centers.
