- DMACC announced Thursday that the first 100 students who apply and qualify for the Certified Nurse Aid program will receive tuition-free scholarships. The new CNA scholarship will also cover the cost of fees and books. Students can apply now for spring 2022. (theperrychief.com)
- With less than 60 days until Christmas, Colleen Murphy, the downtown events director at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, brings merry news. The East Village Holiday Promenade will return this year for five Fridays across November and December. Besides the extended schedule, the promenade also will hold a scavenger hunt and a wreath walk.
