DES MOINES, IA — With much of the political world already shifting its attention to New Hampshire, the Iowa Democratic Party is still struggling to release the complete and accurate results of the state's caucuses.

According to the New York Times, more than 100 precincts reported results that were either internally inconsistent, missing data, or were not possible under the governing rules of the Iowa caucuses.

As of Thursday morning, Pete Buttigieg is clinging to a slight lead over Bernie Sanders with 97 percent of the precincts reporting. However, with the margin of Buttigieg's lead within 0.1 percentage points over Sanders, even the most minor of errors could continue to delay the final projection.
