  1. State treasurer Michael Fitzgerald is encouraging families to utilize the College Savings Iowa program. The program is designed to help families and friends save for future education expenses.   2. A 30-year-old Iowa man, Quntonio Herron, is back in custody after failing to appear at his vehicular homicide trial. In addition to the original charges of vehicular homicide, serious injury by vehicle, and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death, he has additional charges including assault, theft, public intoxication, and providing false identification.   3. Iowa food banks and pantries are getting ready for changes in SNAP benefits coming in April. With emergency pandemic funding ending, many people in Des Moines and statewide will see a reduction in their monthly SNAP benefits.
