New Issue Of Des Moines City Source To Hit Mailboxes This Week

DES MOINES, IOWA – Tuesday, September 1, 2020 – The fall issue of City Source, a printed publication produced quarterly by the City of Des Moines is being mailed to 88,00 households today and should arrive in residents’ mailboxes this week.

In this issue, Des Moines residents can expect a special report on the success of the first year of the Local Option Sales and Service Tax (LOSST) as well as stories on how the City responded to the community during the first few months of the coronavirus pandemic.
The fall edition of City Source also includes stories highlighting a historic promotion in the Des Moines Police Department, two awards the Parks and Recreation Department have been nominated for as well as an update on the City’s Racial Profiling Ordinance.
