Here are the top three stories in Des Moines today:

1. Pittsburgh-based Palace Entertainment bought Adventureland Park from the Krantz family in Des Moines last year for at least $24.5 million. There will be nine new rides introduced this year. Some of these rides are already installed or being installed on-site and plans indicate that all will be operational in time for the amusement park's spring opening. (Des Moines Register)
2. Styx and REO Speedwagon with special guest Loverboy are coming to Des Moines.
   The rock acts will perform at Wells Fargo Arena Sunday, Sept. 4. Tickets for the Des Moines show will go on sale starting Friday, Feb. 18 at 11 a.m.(KCCI Des Moines)
3. The Iowa Craft Brew Festival is back for its 12th year in 2022, and tickets are on sale now. The Iowa Craft Brew Festival will take place on June 4 from 1-4 p.m. at Lauridsen Amphitheater at Water Works Park, rain or shine. General admission is $45, VIP (which includes an extra hour of sampling and access to limited release offerings) is $60, and a special designated driver ticket is available for $5.
