• Semi driver charged with homicide following fatal northern Iowa crash (who13.com) — A semi driver has been charged with homicide by vehicle months after a crash that killed 47-year-old Emmetsburg resident Carolee Wise in Kossuth County. Investigators say the driver allegedly ran a stop sign while possibly distracted by his phone, and he has pleaded not guilty as the case moves forward in court.
