Iowa City man wanted on theft charge arrested (1630kcjj.com) — An Iowa City man on probation for a second OWI was arrested after allegedly possessing over $2,600 in stolen tools and attempting to flee police on a skateboard. Authorities say he missed multiple probation appointments and was found with additional tools commonly used in burglaries, leading to theft, burglary-tools, and interference charges that could bring more than seven years in prison.

UIHC opens new family medicine clinic in fast-growing Tiffin, cites need to keep doctors in Iowa (kcrg.com) — A new University of Iowa Health Care family medicine clinic in nearby Tiffin expands options for Iowa City–area patients, including Clear Creek Amana students and staff. Just 15 minutes from campus and the former Mercy Iowa City site, the clinic aims to improve access while helping keep more family medicine physicians practicing in Iowa.
4. 3 takeaways from City High's dominant IHSAA football win over DM East (press-citizen.com) — Iowa City High's football team thrilled local fans with a 56-7 rout of Des Moines East, securing its third win of the season and surpassing last year's total. Running back Savion Miller scored five touchdowns, while the Little Hawks' defense kept East from crossing midfield and forced four turnovers in a dominant home-state performance.
