Joseph I have just perused your blog and petition for Daniel. As an outsider I was appalled at the prospect he might face 55 years in jail ( much longer than most convicted of murder would spend in jail in most countries in the world.) As a co-author of one of the papers you published I was also curious as to the details of what Daniel was alleged to have done and how it could be that this would lead to 55 years particularly if he has Aspergers Syndrome.
