Carnaval at Beadology Iowa
Join Professor Loyce Arthur, learn to bead embroider, dance, and parade downtown.
Friday, August 21, 4-6pm:
Join us to decorate costumes for the Iowa City Latino Fest parade on Friday August 28th at 5pm to kick of the Summer of the Arts Soul Fest. You’ll learn to do a bead embroidery stitch. From 5 – 6pm learn carnaval dance with Modei Akyea and drum rhythms with Troy Wilson and then practice your moves at the Friday Night concert on the Ped Mall with the band The Fez.
Free and family friendly.
