Film Showing- Mysteries of the Jesus Prayer

Mysteries of the Jesus Prayer is a 114 minute documentary released in 2011. Filmmakers Dr. Norris Chumley and Very Rev. Dr. John McGuckin travel to the Middle East, the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe to discover the spirituality of the ancient and powerful Jesus Prayer. They do so by visiting churches and monasteries and interviewing hermits, monks, nuns and clergymen of the Christian East. Fr. Ignatius Valentine of St. Raphael Orthodox Church will introduce the film and facilitate a brief discussion afterward.
