Registration has begun for the March 6, 2012 "Government and You" course offered at the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center by Johnson County Supervisor Terrence Neuzil. Johnson County is expected to grow another 20-30 thousand residents by 2020. This two-hour class, beginning at 2 pm in Room 202, will address how Johnson County is planning for the growth and will go in-depth into Johnson County's current Strategic Plan. Topics will include the Board's vision on Fiscal Accountability, Environmental Sustainability, Infrastructure, Quality Services, and Quality of Life. Following class, Terrence will be serving a special homemade dessert to all attendees! Register by calling the Iowa City Johnson County Senior Center between 8-5 M-F at 319-356-5220.
