The Iowa City Book Festival is a three-day celebration of books, reading and writing presented by the University of Iowa Libraries on July 13, 14 and 15. The Book Festival will begin on Friday with a literary carnival to kick-off the weekend’s activities. Think county fair and carnival with a literary twist. On Saturday, authors will read at the Old Capital Senate Chambers, the Seamans Commons, and in the Old Capitol Centre.
Beadology Iowa will host a reading by Jennifer Wilson, author of Running Away to Home: Our Family's Journey to Croatia in Search of Who We Are, Where We Came From, and What Really Matters.
