Chevallier has written many books and articles on Napoléon-related topics, including much on Josephine, Napoléon’s wife and First Empress of France from 1804 to 1814. He has admitted to a self-professed “marriage” to Josephine and has worked to revise her image by highlighting her intelligence and strong character, and her passion and support for the arts and natural sciences.
This lecture is free and open to the public.
