The Good Death, Good Grief, Good Funerals

Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Mercy Hospital and Iowa City Hospice are sponsoring “The Good Death, Good Grief, Good Funerals – Finding Our Place on the Continuum of Care” on October 7th, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Coralville Performing Arts Center (1301 5th Street in Coralville, Iowa).

Dr. Thomas G. Long, an author, ordained minister and theology professor at Emory University and Thomas Lynch, an author and funeral director from Milford, Michigan, will discuss assisting patients and families through the dying process.

The event is open to care givers, hospice and healthcare professionals, clergy, educators, funeral directors and the general public.
