Brett Greenwood is unconscious but responsive at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics after collapsing Friday afternoon, a source close to the former Iowa safety told The Daily Iowan.

It wasn't all bad on Twitter, though, as countless people sent their well wishes to Greenwood and his family. This included former defensive backfield mate, Tyler Sash, who sent this Tweet, helping to dispel the rumors of Greenwood's death:

My prayers are with #BrettGreenwood he is alive and on his way to IC. He has overcome every challenge throughout his life. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Most people only knew the football player; I was blessed to know the person as well.
