Police: Former Iowa Wrestler Montell Marion Arrested Again, this Time for Domestic Abuse
The troubled Iowa wrestler is in the news again for a domestic dispute in Coralville.

A former University of Iowa wrestler that was in the news as much for his legal problems as he was for his time on the mat is now facing a new charge.
According to the Coralville Police department, Montell Theautry Marion, 24, of 2888 Coral Court No. 304 in Coralville, was arrested on Tuesday after a domestic dispute that was reported at 1:33 p.m.
According to the complaint, officers spoke with a female complainant after responding to the above address. The woman told the officer that following a dispute, Marion had picked her up on his shoulder and slammer her into the fireplace. The woman also told the officer that they had been in a relationship.

Marion denied the assault to the officer, saying that he had a video of the event. However, the movie was not sufficient to prove his case as it ended while the couple was arguing, according to the complaint. The woman also complained of a headache as a result of the alleged assault.
For this, Marion faces domestic abuse assault without intent causing injury, a serious misdemeanor.
