Friday Meeting to Discuss School Board and IC Council

Want to change the current line-up of reactionary Iowa City Councilors and the Iowa City Community School District Board of Directors who don’t listen to community comments but do as they please? A meeting will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 30th at the Iowa City Public Library in meeting room A to discuss topics of interest regarding how the Iowa City Council and the Iowa City Community School District and Board of Directors have been conducting Iowa City and ICCSD business.

Potential candidates for the Iowa City Council and the Iowa City Community School Board are expected to come to the meeting to discuss topics of interest and generate interest in changing the direction of the current Iowa City Council and the current school board.

Many of us are tired of not being listened to. Taxpayers providing the funds that the City of Iowa City and the school district spend should be listened to.
