GALLERY: Good Times Flow at Iowa City Oktoberfest
Beer, good food and literature were enjoyed by visitors to the Iowa City brew fest held in the Northside Neighborhood Saturday. Check out our photos of the event.
Biking. Beer. Food. Music. Books.
Put all these fine things together with a crisp and sunny Oct. 1 day in Iowa City, and you've got the recipe for a successful Northside Oktoberfest.
Located in the city's Northside neighborhood, the Iowa City Oktoberfest featured both non-beer related festivities as well as a brewfest and sodafest where beer and soda alike could be consumed by happy brew fans. The brewfest part of the festival was held in the Paglai’s parking lot at the corner of Linn and Bloomington.

There were several musical acts during the day, as well as public readings. The Northside Marketplace Literary Walk, a public piece of art that pays tribute to accomplished authors from Iowa City, was also dedicated during the event.
