Scores of kids and parents turned out for the Halloween Parade and Carnival organized by the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department.

Attendees were able to participate in carnival games, crafts, a Discovery Garden Treasure Hunt, cookie decorating, face painting, a Haunted Hallway, fortune telling and other Halloween festivities. They also massed together and marched around the Pedestrian Mall, spreading ghoulish good cheer wherever they went.
