I Can Eliminate One Prez Candidate Right Away: Michael Bennet
Robocalls are a nightmare. Sen. Michael Bennet's robocalls broadcast aloud even when I don't pick up the phone. I'm not voting for him!

Congress, noticing their abysmally low approval rating, has taken a look at robocalls. That's all they've done so far. They've taken a look. We get advice like "sign up on the 'do not call' registry. Please. I've been signed up for years. It does no good because our corporate oligarchy is in charge. Why would the "free" market care about potential buyers other than to sell them something or steal money from them? Telemarketers want the freedom to intrude on our privacy.
Then there's political entities and charities, which have the right to intrude on our privacy. My least favorite politician is Senator Michael Bennet. He's using a new robocall feature that others are beginning to use. You'll recognize it because it's super annoying. You see a number that you don't recognize so you don't answer the phone. In other words, you're not consenting to the call.
Guess what? A taped voice on a speaker broadcasts their message through your phone anyway even though you didn't answer the phone!

A subscription service calls me to tell me to renew my subscription while using this technique and they don't even tell me what subscription it is. Jim and I subscribe to at least five magazines and several newsletters.
So to call me about an unnamed subscription is not only sloppy, but a failure on several fronts: that is, I don't know who they are so they don't get what they want; plus I'm annoyed and if I did know who they are and what they want, they wouldn't get it.

My two preferences for president are Senators Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris just let Joe Biden know that she'd be glad to have him as her running mate (VP). I like her chutzpah!
However, I will vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is, even if I have to hold my nose to do so. I will not vote for a Libertarian, an Independent, or some other third-party candidate and by so doing, help Donald Trump get reelected.
