Iowa City Announces Summer Party in the Park Schedule
See who is performing and at what parks they'll be performing at this summer. The summer performance series kicks off this June 7.
Iowa City's fun summer music series featuring the city's many fine parks and local musicians is returning to a neighborhood near you this summer.
The parties, sponsored Iowa City's Parks and Recreation Department and Neighborhood Services Division each feature a musical performer, games, family activities, and ice cream. Each party is held at a different park each Thursday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. from June 7 through August 30.
Nancita Wernett will kick the party off this Friday with her original parables and blues and folk music.
