Prepare to pay an extra quarter for bus fare starting on June 1

City Release

Effective July 1, 2012, the cost to ride an Iowa City Transit bus will increase from $0.75 to $1.00. By increasing the single fare rate, all other fare media and bus passes will increase in cost. This rate increase was proposed to and approved by City Council.
